Inspired by the beauty of our team, the Woodlawn community, and the creative arts, I decided to write a haiku for my individual blog post. A haiku is a Japanese poem, which is three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables. Haiku traditionally were inspired by the natural world, and I have been inspired the last several weeks by how our team explores Woodlawn, seeks to understand its assets and challenges, and connects those ideas to our values and rights to live healthy lives. Here is my haiku for the week:

Kids, adults, bikes, food, books, become
